Our 2020 Highlights



While 2020 was a unique year for everyone, we found so much to be grateful for – our team,  our clients,  our community and our families. We are particularly grateful  we were still able to accomplish many things in 2020,  despite having to adjust to new circumstances, like working remotely.  We quickly pivoted, making impactful changes such as moving open houses to a virtual format, and having new procedures to keep our staff and our clients safe.

One big change for us this year was our move to our new office at 2234 Queen Street East and its renovation from  January to March. We’re so happy to be in our new,  beautiful home, and we can’t wait until we are able to have you come and visit! Our whole team was able to contribute ideas to our designers, and we think it’s a great representation of our collective taste and style.

Along with our new office, we installed the Beach sign, which is just another reason to stop by. We created a couple versions of the sign, including one that showcased a collection of photos  of the neighbourhood from the 1800s and early 1900s.

We also installed a holiday version of the sign to go along with our Christmas decor, and hosted a selfie contest to win a holiday basket. Thank you to everyone who entered! We really enjoyed decorating the trees outside of the office as a team, and we hope everyone in the neighbourhood loved our mini Christmas grotto too.

We’re committed to helping our community in as many ways as we can. This year –  of course   looked a little bit different. We worked with L’Arche Toronto on their first-ever virtual Twist N’ Sip concert, and participated in their virtual dance contest.

We sponsored extended patios across Queen Street to support our friends and neighbours in the restaurant industry. We loved visiting all of the patios and basking in the sun during the summer months.

Over the holiday period, we partnered with Community Centre 55 on their Share-A-Christmas program to arrange curbside pick up for donations. We picked up almost 100 donations from all around the community.

And of course, we always donate a portion of our commission from every transaction to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation, which has become more important than ever this year.

Along with all of that, we have been working tirelessly throughout the year on helping you through your real estate journey. While market activity slowed down during the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown in March, we found that transactions began moving full steam ahead again in April, and showed no signs of slowing throughout the rest of the year.
